1/ The Flying Dragon nebula (Sh2-114) | December is driving me crazy: over the last two weeks the weather has alternated grey, rainy days with others sunny, seemingly crystal-clear at night—except it isn’t, because the sky is constantly crossed by fog banks and “sheep-clouds”. ⬇️

The Flying Dragon Nebula, captured from my terrace. It’s a region that shines strongly in ionized hydrogen (Hα), which gives it its characteristic red glow.

Here's my take on the Rosette Nebula with 30 mins of data. Don't zoom in...left the burner on longer to get the colors out. Hoping to add more data soon.

Taken with a 91F and a protype IMX571 camera (not allowed to talk about that yet but will do on YT soon).

Look to the Milky Way, in Sagittarius, and you'll find the Lagoon and Trifid Nebulae. In this region, there are hundreds of millions of stars per square degree. My photo is littered with many of them.🤩
