Blaine Bryant, a veteran who has lived in Virginia his whole life, said he doesn’t like the way things are going and the government shutdown makes a big difference for him.

“I think it's time for a change. What we're doing right now is not really working,” he said.

Voter CJ Roberts came out to vote in Virginia for the first time today, she said politics is like a chess game.

Candidate Lindsey Dougherty made a stop by, she said Virginians are ready for change.
