I’ve seen multiple TikTok’s of people talking about how many deviled eggs they will eat tomorrow. This ain’t Easter. What kind of sicko is serving deviled eggs at thanksgiving.

While watching a movie yesterday I said the phrase "two pump chump". @rustyincbus.bsky.social said he'd never heard this phrase and implied it was regional. I can't imagine this is the case, but also don't know how to tactfully crowdsource this.

The last 20 min of The Substance had some excess issues but otherwise I loved that movie. Feel sad Margaret didn’t get an acting nod too. Super fucking weird and awesome.

I am a TikTok user who would like to see it saved, particularly given that Musk and Zuckerberg have given up on policing misinformation. BUT if Bytedance turns down the fuck ton of money being shoved at them to sell, that will be telling.

Barely hit my reading goal of 40 books in 2024. While setting my 2025 goal I decided to aim lower with 30, but my 7 year old informed me that isn’t how goals worked and it needed to be 41.

My 6 yr old has expressed some skepticism on the Easter Bunny, which has oddly not migrated over to other childhood magical experiences. Santa and the Toothy Fairy get no questions, but the Bunny is a bridge too far I guess.
