Still working out of my backlog. This day’s prompt was “rope” so I knew exactly what to illustrate: a beautiful song sung by Tom Rozum and Laurie Lewis, with inspiring lyrics by Stephanie Davis.

The word for this day was “leaf,” so (continuing the musical theme) I drew varnished weeds in a window jar and a maple leaf tucked into a paperback, from Joni Mitchell’s “Tin Angel.” Happy Canadian Thanksgiving.

I’m four days behind in my Peachtober drawings, but I’m not giving up.

Thanks! Dudley Connell’s tenor singing is so good on this.
Day 6 of the drawing challenge: so many choices for “ring,” but I’ve always loved this James King song.

Peachtober Day 5’s word is “poppy,” so it’s gotta be Shooby Taylor.

Okay, I’m outfitted. Let’s go, Tigers!
Didn’t get a chance to draw yesterday’s prompt “gingham,” so I’m catching up today.

Day 3 of Peachtober and today’s prompt is “slug.” This song leapt to my mind immediately.

Peachtober, Day Two. The prompt is “kite” and I’m keeping the music thing going. Why I feel like the girl from “And She Was” got her dress caught on the kite string of Howard Finster figure is anybody’s guess.

It’s Peachtober, with a new drawing prompt each day of the month. I sketched an acorn, today’s word, and thought the little top looked like a beret. Now I might try to put a musical spin on it each day. We’ll see.

I don’t know how much more sober I can get.

I fully plan to inform on any co-worker who says or posts anything negative or insensitive about Robert Redford.
Our local weatherman just thoughtfully posted a way to view the forecasts he would post on FB, but on his webpage, in case anyone needed to stay away from social media.
Beware the loss of your essence!
Is this a step on the way to secession?
I’m planning to ask my doctor for guidance at my next visit. As the article points out, I may not be able to get insurance to cover a Covid shot even if he recommends one. I hope I can at least get access to one.
