With federal early learning funding endangered, it’s never been more important to stand up for MN kids! So why are the #mnleg and @governorwalz.mn.gov about to allow 15K kids to be left behind?

For very good reason, MN hasn't cut early care and education in 17 yrs. Now, #mnleg and @governorwalz.mn.gov are on the verge of cutting 6500 Early Learning Scholarships annually and reducing overall state investment in access to child care and preschool by 20%. The problem: 8,500 eligible children still can’t get them, due to lack of funding. That number grows to 15,000 if the Walz budget is adopted and $100M is cut. #mnleg

All Scholarship programs are required to be using k-readiness best practices. 94% of Scholarship children are benefiting from 4-star programs.
