"This begs the question why these known multiple antidepressant 'discontinuation-emergent' physical/bodily symptoms came to be incorporated into tools to encourage prescribers to consider Medically Unexplained Syndromes (MUS) and overlook antidepressant withdrawal?" 🤔

We are horrified to read that one of the potential causes of the #AirIndia #Boeing crash is the electronic engine software on board.

The FADEC software was considered "positively dangerous" and is why the Boeing RAF Chinook on which our loved ones died in 1994 was grounded by MoD test engineers.
New clues point to engine failure for cause of Air India plane crash
Videos and witness reports suggest that the Boeing 787 could have experienced power loss from both engines

Thanks to BBC South
for the latest coverage of our campaign.

While we wait for the Ministry of Defence to respond to our legal action, it’s clear public pressure is mounting for a full judge led public inquiry.

According to Osborne, Fox himself has doubts that Lord Philip's Review into the 1994 crash got to the bottom of the airworthiness issues on the Mark 2 helicopter, and is happy to help to get to the truth. That's very good news for the #ChinookJustice Campaign. We intend to get to the truth.

Liam Fox, the Defence Secretary who finally cleared the pilots of blame, now "has doubts" about the airworthiness of the #RAF #Chinook which crashed on the Mull of Kintyre in 1994.

“There is my life before I experienced antidepressant withdrawal, and there is my life after,” said Carrie Clark

“I can't emphasise this to you enough. It is the most terrifying thing that has ever happened to me. It's like a scar on my life”

The investigation based on NHS England data obtained by FOI reveals 👇

- 12% of England on antidepressants (16% of women, 9% of men)
- 7% on them 5 years of more (9% of women, 4% of men) double the amount 3 years ago
- 23% women over 50 on them, 15% for > 5 years

INVESTIGATION: 7% of England -3.8m people- have been on antidepressants for > 5 years 💊

While effective for some, long term use carries risks + raises chances of withdrawal when stopping, leaving some feeling "trapped" on the drugs @thetimes.com

The American Psychiatric Association’s (2025) annual conference, or should we say Pharma Expo 2025? One glance at the conference map & you’d be forgiven for thinking it’s a sales convention, not a 'medical' gathering 👇

Call me cynical, but isn't Mental Health Awareness Week a hollow festival of shallow & performative activism, that companies leverage to stage 'progressiveness' & everyone else expolits to sell their individualistic ideas & wares; where social determinants remain buried & nothing gets better.

Hyperbolic tapering is safer, but is no guarantee that you will come through without injury after taking psychiatric drugs.

The only way to guarantee safety is to not take them in the first place. Patients need to be told this when the drugs are offered (and they need alternatives).
