I've annotated a chart showing the userbase of social media sites.

Taking a principled stand against the worst of these isn't the best as someone trying to get the word out about your art. At this point I think I'm going to try my luck with AOL chat rooms, or perhaps FARK.

Yes, generative AI is a grotesque techno-horror, a thief of human creativity foisted upon us by the worst capitalist impulses and meant to be consumed en masse, absent from soul or emotion, but at least it's also an ecological disaster that consumes an inordinate share of power and natural resources

The one good thing about not being terminally online is that if a social media site develops into a cesspool, I have no hesitation to cut that cancer out of my life.

I've been asked a couple times if my book is a graphic novel. It isn't. The cover is based on a WW1 propaganda poster, and on my book it's shown burning away as an allegory that reality is often not what we expect.
