There was a child, lost when chasing after his parents.

With their clothes and tales of the forest spirits, he concealed himself in the vast green.

One day in the woods he spotted him, another child, kept in a cage. As discreetly as he could, he freed him but scurried away on his own.

Inside a cave between bushes and leaves he hid, it was a surprise so big when teal eyes met carmine.

There was a child, taken away under a wicked man's commands.

It was a normal day on his way back home, he trashed and fought but still, away in a cage he was put with a lock.

His little friends wished to come to his aid but a small frame approached the door before them. The chains fell and before he could voice his thanks, his savior away went.

With the help of one of his forest friends, he found him again; ah... He got a lovely new friend.

“Master Kaveh,” a Mahamata he can’t remember the name of, stands in front of him with a carefully neutral but sympathetic look. “Would you be free right now to go to the Akademiya with me? There are some documents we would need you to sign.”

“Is this related to Alhaitham?” Kaveh asks impatiently.

The Mahamata doesn’t immediately respond, which is enough of an answer in and of itself.

“If you all can’t do your job then I will find him myself.”

“Master Kaveh, we understand your concern, but please don’t be rash,” the Mahamata pleads. “The General Mahamatra is due to be back from his investigation soon. We will arrange for you to be updated, but we need you to follow the procedure as the Grand Scribe’s legal partner and next of kin.”

Legal partner.

Right. Kaveh had been Alhaitham’s legal partner by accident for only a few weeks before he left for that damned expedition of his. They were both still talking it out and taking it slow. Now is really not the time for Alhaitham to go missing.

He better be alright. Kaveh is not going to be widowed when they haven’t even been wed properly.

It's rainy season in Indonesia. The storm was horrible and I unfortunately slipped today on the street and ending up with injured legs and hands.
Be careful when you walk around, or drive too

I'm overreacting but my pants are ruined and I only have limited sets of pants so that's unfortunate
