One of ours needed to be wrapped in a towel for medication. Thank goodness he has no teeth and his cultures are now negative. (I'm sure he agrees (on the cultures, not the lack of teeth)).

Besides, you don't have to have expensive things at the end of wand toys. My cats' favorite toy is thin strips of fabric I put at the end of the wand. They are waste form sewing.
