It's my understanding from the Guild lawyers they can't sell my book elsewhere, since they're going out of business, and the rights will have to revert back to me. I doubt I will receive a reply if I contact the pub, as they already ignored demands for payment sent by the Guild lawyers.

They only have one remaining book - rights are automatically reverted. But they still list it for sale. I'm discussing with lawyers at the Authors Guild.

My point is more that these kids add no value to the show and are actually ruining it. This latest one is seriously horrible. And the amount of screen time they gave her on Monday makes me think she's related to someone in the show.

Gearing up for #divebarsaturday! Dealing with publishers who refuse to pay me, publishers in breach of contract (causing me to lose thousands in the Anthropic settlement), and vicious extortion threats from wannabe Kray Brothers can be exhausting.

I'm not worried about it. It's like an upgrade to the previous scams. The email provider is blocking my email addresses so no one using their service can message me. Mind you, scammers use multiple accounts, and VPNs. No doubt this scam will target other authors too. I might be a test run.
