Hey! I'm Maxwell. I've been known as mr_chun on the internet for many years.

You may know me from when I used to moonlight in games media; I wrote guides for IGN and reviews for Fanbolt. I even operated a PlayStation-centric blog for a time.

Now I work in education, but I still play games for fun.

HYBE is a soulless husk. To be expected from a company that puts people like Scooter Braun on their board. They suck.

Only reason they haven't let Newjeans go is petty bullshit. They gain nothing by keeping them around other than the satisfaction that they are effectively ending the girls' career.

Just got Pokémon AZ.

Last month or so I've still been slowly working through DK Bananza. And helldivers + minecraft are still my evergreen games.

This was not a DSOR to remember. What a wretched game of football.

First half was nauseating for us, the second half was for them. Penalties and replay booth absolutely sucked the life out of the game. Simply hard to watch from beginning to end.

Auburn sucks and we'll take the dub. But Jesus.

Idk if it's that or just general social media fatigue. We are so used to scrolling through (and not interacting with) manufactured content, bots, ai slop, etc. that it's trained us to do the same with human content. Connecting with real people is somehow harder than ever.

Essential is still too expensive for people like me that only need online multiplayer access and have zero intention of playing the game library.

There needs to be a cheaper (or better yet, free) tier for playing online.

56-6 since 2021 with 4 losses to the same team. Beating virtually every other team on the slate. Winning championships. But can't beat this one team. A nightmare that replays over and over.

Since 2012, Georgia would have at least 1 more natty and 4 more SEC titles if they could just beat Bama.

Won't judge the whole chain by one store, but my store was mid-identity crisis. The shelves were a mess of cards, figurines, games, stuff I would call "junk." Nothing was organized or sorted in any logical way. Staff seemed like they wanted to be anywhere else but there. I was the only customer.
