I will always sing the praises of Conker Live and Reloaded, from the real neat graphics to the amazing music.

Cassidy & her friend Akila play jump rope together. The thing is, Akila is a mummy & uses her bandages... while Cassidy is a zombie & uses her own intestines.

FAIRY TALE BOOK - VARIOUS

A CHILDREN’S BOOK opens. On the front cover is a picture of an eight pointed star.

KING CORPUS (V.O)
Long ago a little zombie didn’t fit in, and decided to run away from home. If everyone was so mean to her, why would she stay?

A ZOMBIE GIRL (13) tearfully runs away from her hometown, a crowd jeering after her. She continues to run as the road gives way to the wilderness and eventually some dark caves.

KING CORPUS (V.O)
Faster she ran and further she travelled, out of the kingdom and away to some dark caves with only bats for company.

She huddles up in a dark corner, sobbing into her knees. A few bats flutter around her, only to scatter when light draws near. The girl cowers in fright... but danger never comes.

KING CORPUS (V.O)
But there were more than bats down in the caves. There were monsters just like her!

Several SHADOWED FIGURES - other monsters - approach the girl, giving her tender smiles and offering hugs.

KING CORPUS (V.O)
Offering their friendship, the monsters said they were from other worlds and asked the little zombie if she wanted to have an adventure with them.

The girl follows after the monsters, deeper and deeper into the caves. They soon come to a glowing archway - a PORTAL.

The monsters jump through one by one. One of the monsters gestures for the girl to follow them. They enter the portal.

KING CORPUS (V.O)
She said yes, but asked where they would go. The monsters said she could pick anywhere she wanted and led her to their magical hideout.

CASSIDY (V.O)
The Portal Yard!

They come out the other side of the portal, standing upon what appears to be a flat disc floating in space. Set around its circumference are several uniquely designed archways.

KING CORPUS (V.O)
The magical place, the centre of every world, the thing that connects all monsters - the girl hardly knew where to start!

INT. CASSIDY'S BEDROOM - NIGHT

A room fit for a princess! A four poster bed, a walk-in closet, a fancy vanity dresser and numerous toys.

Tucked up in bed is CASSIDY (6): hair in pigtails, several band aids, green skin - the PRINCESS of the ZOMBIES.

Seated beside the bed is KING CORPUS (40), the KING of the Zombies. Regal, majestic, powerful... and a laid back Dad.

Corpus closes the STORYBOOK in his hand. Puts it on a shelf.

CASSIDY
What happened next?

KING CORPUS
A certain little Princess got some sleep, that’s what!

CASSIDY
I’m not tired! I could... stay awake all night... in my sleep!

She yawns, already starting to nod off. Corpus laughs, gently pecking her on her forehead.

KING CORPUS
Then you better get to sleep and prove that you can, eh?
Cassidy sleepily giggles.

CASSIDY
Daddy, why did the zombie run away? Why was everyone so mean to her?
(quieter)
Was she a vegetarian?

Corpus considers his words.
