Recently learned that MLB tells umpires not to be as strict in the postseason because it's a special occasion. In the regular season, it would definitely be an ejection.

I'm guessing whoever said that meant that it was just another out now as opposed to something special like back when it was relatively rarer... but a weird way to phrase that IF that is the case.
