As we leave Montreal and the fun that was Amp Fest, this face isn’t sad. It’s definitely tired, and wishing the weekend didn’t end. But not sad.

I’ll do a larger post later, for now I want to say thank you to everyone - friends new & old, bands, organizers, vendors - who made Amp Fest memorable.

I keep forgetting to celebrate the victories.

WASTELAND came out 2 years ago and put me “on the map” as it were.

Grateful to everyone who loves it and sorrowful that the lyrics are more true today than when they were written.

Did I just re-record Plaything’s vocals in an attempt to slightly deviate from “the aggrotech vocoder trap”?

Yes, yes I did.

Same vocal technique, only plugins used are distortion, delay (at times) and chorus (during the chorus, duh).

Needs a touch of re-mixing and then I shall call it ready.
