Tears were streaming today as I said goodbye to P4🥺 I had the best time at my placement and I will forever be grateful for all the support the school has gave me❤️ It’s not a goodbye it’s a see you later 🫶🏻

Happy Ramadan from P4🤩 We have been learning about how special Ramadan is and even had a pupil share her experience of Ramadan🫶🏻 So special! We created our own lanterns and learned about the festival 🌙 ⭐️

Happy British Science week⚡️💡🔋 P4 have been learning about electricity and how this can work through insulators and conductors. We created our own electrical circuit within our groups and watched (some) bulbs light up💡 We had great discussions about how electricity flows through the circuit!🤩

Our IDL lesson on magnetic forces was SO fun 🧲 We learned about our key words of repel and attract and created our own hypothesis and results 🤩 We created our own magnetic fishing games too 🎣🐟

P4 have completed a lesson on Victorian toys! We have been using our knowledge of different toys in this era to highlight the similarities and differences in contrast to the toys we have today🪀🚂🧸 We even created our own Victorian toy of a cup and ball game which the class absolutely loved 🤩

It’s all about time ⏰ P4 has now finished their learning on time and they have done absolutely fab 👏🏼 We have been learning about analogue and digital time the past few weeks and challenging ourselves to link the two together🤩

Another Health and Wellbeing lesson on medication and how misusing medication can be harmful ✅ The class were able to use their imaginations to create their own medicines and ensure that they gave us instructions on where to store it, how to use it, an expiry date and when to use it 👏🏼

First lesson of the week was from my Health and Wellbeing sequence which involved learning about substance misuse! We had a great discussion about what medicine is, how to be safe around medicine and how it should be stored. P4 are such artists and love to draw so making posters was perfect!👏🏼

One more week until the Sleepy Stargazer Nativity for P1 and P2🌟🐑👼🏼 We have completed a writing lesson on creating our invitations to send home and we have been creating crafts to have on show next week for all the school to see 🤩

Observation lesson on how we can show different amounts up to 10p💰We started with a pizzeria and used toppings to understand the value of money in building our (fake)pizzas 🍕 We had games of bingo, we used the laptops for money games and we went to the toy shop to understand change and adding money!

Lots of fun in P2 to end the week! We created jellyfish for our shoebox aquariums from egg cartons and learnt about what they do in the sea🪼The best part was definitely getting our own class fishes to put into our aquarium corner 🤩 We named them Nemo and Lola🐟🫶🏻

The magic ‘e’🪄✨ Working with P2 this week on a-e and why our e is magical! We created our own wands, practiced our reading and blending with the dice, created our own birthday cakes and played a matching game! The wands have definitely been working as P2 are making great progress 🤩

Week 12✅ From fun activities surrounding Bonfire Night where we used chocolate fingers dipped in sprinkles for sparklers and drawing with chalk to using our topic Under the Sea to create a shoebox aquarium with seaweed and coral! The Little Mermaid song “Under the Sea” was a great link too🪼🐠🐚🎆
