Wild to me that people dislike Naveen so much? Like he felt so autism coded to me, in the way he'd act. You've also just like, got Lida there? Who made me violent anytime she said fucking shit. Shut up. Don't fucking force your friend to reveal his traumas. Your staryu. Ain't. Shit.
So far, my experience of ZA:

- "That mf is evil"
- "Nevermind, this guy's the evil one"
- "Omg you're so real (Side Character)"
- "Go fucking die (Other Side Character)"
- "oh no this is gonna be the super duper evil twist villain for SURE (im probably wrong)"
Should add, it checks if A) You have collected the clue and B) the clue isnt currently placed on the board, then creates a new list of clues based on the ones you can add to the board. Cause knowing me this is probably a first of me thinking ahead with the not-already-on-the-board thingy

Managed to make a system that (will eventually keep track) of all the clues you've collected and then sorts them into rows of 3, with any remainders still being centered! With rope physics taking me weeks, im just happy with stuff working :>

Got quite a few small things done today (not super notable, like reorganising the layout for the note board and stuff) though I did manage to finish the front facing sprites for Wooliam's walk animation! :D shall hopefully get more done tomorrow!

Had ANOTHER very busy weekend so not much has been done, however I spend a bit organising one of my scripts (splitting it into 2 since it was VERY cluttered), and did some more for the walk animations. Should be ready to start doing more coding!

Super productive day :D finished some annoying programming (see other post) AND started on a walk animation for my favourite wolf boy! Might post a proper gif when he's done cause I love his bouncy ears
Also to add: Anyone using #unity trying to make a rope using 2d hinge joints, I recommend using the HingeJoint2d.MovePosition(newPosition) function, using basically anything else will readjust the distance between your points and most likely make the rope go jank

I still gotta make a folder that lets you "spawn" your found clues, but after that? I can work on ACTUAL gameplay >:3

Spent a bit updating my scripts to use the new rope script I had, only to find out, it has its own problems with placing the end points of the rope 🙃

I think I'm going to do the paw's of Wooliam's hands like so, kinda mimicking actual paws, and doing just dots at the fingertips looked too weird :>

Been a little busy with uni starting again, but i managed to finish the still parts of 2 of Wooliam's talking sprites! 3 More to go, and to animate the tails which shouldn't take long :D

My original script for creating a rope between two pins on the note board (like a bit of string) got really unhappy when I'd move one of the points, so i remade the "script" as objects with hinge joints. Still to update the other scripts to the new rope :>
(side note) while this is teeechnically day 0, i have already made some progress on making the game, including an almost finished (yippee) theory/note board, and some of the art assets. I just wanted to continue to post stuff as a #devdiary instead :>
