Why would I want to have another app to analyse data? We already use FREE apps connected with our cgms, and a lot of us already have tech fatigue?
Also low and high glucose trends side by side don't really mean anything?

"Juvenile" Diabetes AKA Type 1 diabetes is NOT a modern disease. Diabetes is one of the oldest known diseases, discovered in 1550 BCE, Ancient Egypt. Insulin was discovered over 100 YEARS ago. Before this discovery children with diabetes DIED. OMFG RFK JR 🫠 🤦🏽‍♀️

-Gestational diabetes (GDM) happens during pregnancy and raises future risk of type 2.
-Other Specific Types include rarer forms like MODY, neonatal diabetes, and diabetes from pancreatic damage or medications. All fall outside type 1 & 2.
-Type 5 Diabetes caused by early malnutrition.

-Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease where the body attacks insulin-producing cells. It often starts in childhood, but adults get it too.
-Type 2 diabetes is caused by insulin resistance and is linked to genetics, lifestyle, and aging.

There are many different factors that go into the design of a graphic illustration to hopefully capture the message that is trying to be conveyed.

Text was kept to a minimum to not overwhelm the graphic, using Frederick Banting's famous quote on the LHS, & balancing it with a caption on the RHS.

Lastly, it was important to emphasize the year Frederick Banting co-discovered insulin. 100 years, & we're still not there yet.
