Welp, my arm pain is still a mystery, but now it's a 50/50 of whether or not it's my hand or my NECK that's causing my pain and numbness.

Hello again, #PortfolioDay! I'm Alyssa, a comic artist and illustrator, currently working on my comic The Emperor's Feast!

A comic page, The top three panels show people prepping food. Filovanya: This is why we train our chefs to be perfect in their preparation to ensure that ze food is as perfect as possible, to have no errors, and no variance.

Middle panel: Filovanya stands with her arms crossed, smiling. Filovanya: It is very demanding, every chef here trains for years to even chop vegetables. I cooked for 15 Feasts before I was named Head Chef, and I had stiff competition.

Why does portfolio day always seem to fall on days I'm not home. Sitting in my Ortho's appt, waiting to see if there's anything wrong with my hands.

Sometimes I wonder. When I was in NYC, using a wheelchair, while paying EXTRA for wheelchair accessible pickup, we had multiple drivers refuse me.

They even had accessibility stickers on some of them.

When I was a volunteer I got to chat with the vets a few times, these people are HARDCORE.
