Even though I teach at a CC, and she spent a career teaching elementary school, I still feel my mother peeking over my shoulder, giving pointers. It's been 15 years since we lost her. The love stays, but you learn to deal with the pain. I hope you find peace in the process.

One of the assignments in my pre-programmed online class offers an option to submit by video as a way to beat plagiarism. Guess what? Videos can be made start to finish by AI--choose the topic, the time length, and the narrator's accent, and your homework is done.

My Community College has A History 101 class on Saturdays from 9:00am to noon. I end up teaching it frequently because I am the only adjunct. Yes, I call them my Breakfast Club, and many students get the joke.

My advisor and I had conflicting personalities, and my experience at grad school made me an emotional wreck. I discovered it did that to many academics. I am teaching at a CC, non TT. Currently my husband's health issues keep me from doing those things I should do as a PhD. and I feel very guilty.

I am so saddened by the loss of Diane Keaton. She was an actress who did not need to be a movie star. At least we will be forever blessed by her roles.

Cooking a big tray of chicken enchiladas, with a Dutch Apple pie for desert. The pie was store-bought, but the enchiladas are homemade.

I wonder if he is still getting steroids. They really perked him up when he has Covid, but long term usage is very bad. Getting weaned off of them is tough.
