In this volatile world, the IAEA’s difficult work is indispensable for international nuclear safety, security and non-proliferation. I met with Director General Rafael Grossi and expressed full support for IAEA efforts with regards to Iran’s nuclear program and nuclear safety in Ukraine.

Dmytro Shabanov is one of the three Ukrainian #OSCE officials wrongfully detained by Russia. I was deeply impressed by the perseverance and courage of his wife, Margaryta. The Netherlands and its partners continue to pressure Russia for their immediate and unconditional release.

Good meeting with my colleague from #Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov. We welcomed the progress in the peace talks with Armenia and the upward trend in our bilateral ties. Also discussed trade and regional connectivity opportunities.

#Kazachstan is an important partner in the region. Pleased to discuss with FM Kosherbayev our extensive trade ties and cooperation, including in the field of agriculture, energy and raw materials. On Russia, we underlined our joint commitment to tackle sanctions circumvention.

Our shared security starts in the North. In my meeting with Espen Barth Eide we discussed politics and developments in the High North. Our countries work closely together and will continue to do so.

Strengthening our partnership with Canada was the focus of my meeting with Foreign Minister Anita Anand. We discussed trade, natural resources, defence production and our broader economic ties. I also invited Canada to join efforts to ensure justice for Ukraine.

Good to speak with @HakanFidan again at @NATO after our meeting in New York. Türkiye is an important NATO ally and a longstanding and important partner to the Netherlands. We discussed regional developments in the Middle East and our continued cooperation on security.

Good to be in Brussels with fellow NATO ministers. We’re building on the commitments from the The Hague summit and looking ahead to Ankara. Our talks focus on the negotiations around Ukraine and the continuing Russian threat. Now is the moment to keep supporting Ukraine.
