May God break the power of the wicked and the evildoer.
My husband: "wow, what a loser."
Doing the right thing is pointless. Evil will always win.
Did you know that bananas are berries?
I'm already autistic so I wonder what this would do to me.

Relatedly, as a Reformed (ish) Christian with ADHD as well as ASD, I'm a hyper Calvinist.

...The world probably isn't ready for Ultimate Power Emily.
One of my favorites. Just watched it a couple weeks ago while doped up on NyQuil. Well, I ended up sleeping through most of it, but I know it so well it didn't matter. And I needed the sleep.
Any other Christians out there who retain a measure of estel but are utterly devoid of amdir?
Christians, whatever your convictions regarding forgiveness and restoration between believers are, they have to account for the "if" in Luke 17:3.
What are the lectionary readings for this day?
Update I am 5 chapters in to The Last Battle and I think it's slapping considerably harder since I'm coming fresh off TMN so I might have to modify this scheme slightly.
Slog might be a bit strong a word, but I generally agree. Right now I'm thinking my kids are going to hear them in chronological order, except for LWW.
Any Christian woman who gets told by a theobro that she’s destined to be a single, childless cat lady should run with it and say she intends to name her cats Judith and Jael.

Anyway, two thoughts: 1, aside from being persuaded that LWW would be the ideal first volume for a new reader, I really don't think publication order makes the whole series that drastically better. 2, and more importantly, I just started The Magician's Nephew and I think this one is underrated. 2/2
I'm reading the Narnia series in publication order for the first time--somehow, having them read to me in chronological order when I was 5, and continuing to reread them on that order, didn't turn me into a career criminal. Shocking, I know. 1/
Uh, no. That's a hunk of butter.

Don't take this personally, but you might need to get your eyes checked.
They use their stomachs to digestia!
I've read it! I've seen the Polish miniseries adaptation too!
