The public narrative somehow became "actors are precious beans uwu it's not their fault" and bad faith actors have been using that as a shield to continue terrible behavior.

So many voice actors who blew up during the pandemic really heard the "voiceover has such a nicer community than on-camera" line in the 2010s and said "bet 😏".

The politics of this past year have really shown that the majority of big voice actors do not give a shit about their fellow actor.
