Tavares will eventually get in. Barring injury he probably gets to 600 goals by the end of his new deal. Probably gets 1350ish points, has an Olympic gold medal. He won’t win any personal hardware probably (maybe like a Clancy one day), but he’s clearly beyond hall of very good.
