This was horrifying, horrible. He shouldn't be here. He knew instinctually he shouldn't. But his self-preservation instincts were still so screwed up that he kept pressing forward regardless. The smell of rot made him nearly gag, the putrid stench surrounding him, suffocating him fron all sides.
