So he suggests fixing that dent together with his own car, then fix van's tires (gege, please, you can't drive it like that!), then new small things that absolutely need to be fixed keep coming up. And ofc XL should stay in HC apartment, since he's been living in a van, and van is getting fixed now!

Hualian meet cute when Xie Lian hits Hua Cheng's fancy sport cart which is now half bent inwards, while Xie Lian's beat up white van somehow berely gets a dent while barely even working. Hua Cheng is not even upset, ofc he got to finally meet his long lost school love again!

Man, I really want a fic in which Jun Wun would manage to drag Xie Lian into the Kiln and make him into calamity to only realize that even changed XL didn't lose his character at all. And actually instead of being angry at humans he turns his anger at Jun Wu and tears that mf into pieces.

This new Hua Cheng art makes me think how after that "Ghost King dress up" extra Xie Lian probably deliberately worked on pumping up his husband's confidence, not allowing him to think of himself ugly anymore. So now HC can confortably push his hair back and proudly show his full face ♥️

- most of the times MC's goal is to build compromise and peace inside a family/community instead of detroying enemies inside those families, even when some intence hostility is going on

- rivals might be more supportive and loyal then friends not letting any party win to just keep the rivalry going

- nothing is absolutely evil or absolutely good, sometimes even antagonists get good sides shown and otherwise good people might do some really effed up stuff
