I recently sequenced an interesting bacterial genome, with the idea of making the interesting recombinant genes from this strain.
Problem: after a morning searching the genes of interest just aren't there. Not a trace, and all literature says there should be 2 copies. 😭🤯 #help

After optimizing said script went it's time to load in 265 sequences not 1. Yeah that's going to take my poor little computer ~18 hours 😭🥴

Something really big happened this week. No I didn't submit that fellowship, nor did I get my 4* refable paper.
No I got a diagnosis after 6 years of begging to be tested. 🥹🥹🥹 It's official I am what I am 🥹🥹🥹 and that is very much neurospicy.
