These jobs numbers are not good and they will not look better. December is typically a time when CEOs drop bad news.

Who died and made you Grace Kelly? (IYKYK)

Do whatever you are comfortable doing on social. I do a mix of text and video. I don’t like to be on camera, so I do voiceovers instead.
i have said this before but if you are actually interested in influencing people beyond a narrow circle of too-online journalists you will be making direct to camera videos on tiktok, instagram and youtube. if you primarily post on text-based social media then you're just dicking around.

It is almost the 10th anniversary of Obama leaving office, and his library is not finished, as everyone on the South Side knows. Biden faces a long road. He might want to give everything to his alma mater. (Gift link.)

This is the statement from Michigan’s interim president and the key section.

“When the findings of a University investigation into Coach Moore's behavior were presented on Wednesday, we immediately terminated his employment.”

A few weeks ago, there were rumors around Ann Arbor that Sherrone Moore’s job was in jeopardy. It turns out there was something to them.

Legally, he doesn’t have a role. But that didn’t stop him - or Biden for that matter. He resurrected the Nippon Steel deal for US Steel after Biden essentially vetoed it.
On the red carpet at the Kennedy Center Honors just now, Trump confirmed that he met with Netflix boss Ted Sarandos recently and called Sarandos "a great person," but expressed reservations about the combined market share of Netflix-Warners. Newsiest quote: "I'll be involved in that decision."

In Chicago, a city of 2.74 million, ICE arrested about 3,200 people. Many have been let go and lawsuits filed to free others.

Now, ICE aims to arrest 5,000 people in New Orleans, which has 384,000 people.

There will not be anyone left to get anything done.

This is bad for multiple reasons.
1) There are germs right in the hospital. Newborns need all possible protection.
2) Spacing out shots means as many babies won’t get shots - and they need the full course.
3) If they get sick, it can kill them.
This regressive move will literally kill people. It's making kids' liver cancer great again. And it's a sign of more harm to come.

Also, CNN isn’t ready to be sold yet. More shoes will drop.
Note: Netflix isn't buying CNN.
It made a (so-far) successful bid for Warner Brothers assets.
CNN is part of Discovery Global, to be spun off + sold separately in 2026.
The headlines are confusing.
It's explained here in @brianstelter.bsky.social CNN report on the deal

Exactly my thought: he hurled Admiral Bradley in front of a freight train. Let’s see who prevails.
Admiral Bradley can take the hit for an administration that doesn't give two shits about him or the military in general, or he can drop his retirement papers and out every single political appointee involved. We'll soon see what kind of officer and leader he is.
REPORTER: Does the administration deny that that second strike happened, or did it happen and the administration denies that Hegseth gave the order?

LEAVITT: The latter. Secretary Hegseth authorized Admiral Bradley to conduct these kinetic strikes. He worked well within his authority and the law.
