Based on all the social media reports, today may have been the busiest Friday for ICE activity that we’ve seen since this surge started.
With hundreds of police now protecting ICE’s facility for them, presumably ICE is able to deploy more agents to snatch people.

Literally two minutes after I posted this thread on ICE/CBP escalation, I heard about agents shooting a woman in Brighton Park and then witnessed them tear gas several blocks of the neighborhood.
Been thinking a lot about how things keep escalating, and rather quickly.

Broadview officials have launched a criminal investigation into reports that an ICE agent fired a projectile at a CBS News Chicago reporter.
Broadview has been the site of protests against ICE.
The reporter said at the time of the incident, there wasn't a active protest and she was alone.

I forgot to mention, I assume someone eventually realized that having a journalist inside for hours observing them was less than ideal so they taped bags up over every window in our cell so we couldn’t see out. At least not as well anyway, there are always gaps.
Yes, arresting a journalist for doing their job is a big flashing red light. But I don't want people to forget the whole reason everyone is out there.
This is what I saw inside:
Four holding rooms. Two smaller rooms were being used for holding protesters. Two larger rooms held ICE/CBP captives.
