I find all those social posts saying “I can’t believe I only just found out you can cook xyz in an air fryer” funny because it’s going to blow their minds when they work out that an air fryer is just a tiny oven. 🤯

If the sales process becomes too hard and the client is trying to screw you on price - walk away. Difficult sales process = difficult project.

I shouldn't have to explain this to adults:

"Part of the problem is we need a landscape image (horizontal) and cropping a portrait image to fit just doesn’t work because of the composition - basic shape/space physics."

When the time it takes to write a quote due to the excessive and unnecessary information required by the client takes longer than actually doing the work.

I'd like to thank Gravity Forms for its latest malware issue. I had just replied to a client explaining why we don't (and won't) use WordPress when the news popped up on my feed. Needless to say I forwarded this to them www.searchenginejournal.com/malware-disc...
Malware Discovered In Gravity Forms WordPress Plugin
Patchstack published an advisory on a supply chain attack affecting Gravity Forms that enables remote code execution on affected websites.

Me: “Hey Siri, stop playing music downstairs”

Siri: “Sorry I can’t stop the music try again”

Also - music stops. 🤪

I was going through some archive files and found some photos of me bungy jumping in New Zealand. They made me laugh and brought back memories of a great trip.

I hate replying on 3rd party IT people to update DNS when putting a site live. Inevitably they screw it up. The number of IT support people who don't understand DNS is gobsmacking!

How is it that is 2025 companies are still asking for an ID check when they call you?

My heath insurance company calls me out of the blue and says "Before I can tell you why I'm calling I need to do an ID check".

Me: Um, no.

I’ve been helping someone with a Wordpress site that uses Elementor and I have come to the conclusion that WP/Elementor isn’t web design or development, it’s button clicking.

Common phrases said by people who live in 3 storey houses:

1. Oh shit, I left it downstairs
2. Oh shit, I left it upstairs
3. I'll get it later
4. Are you up or down?

I love that hotels now use refillable amenities in their showers but what they failed to do is cater for people who can’t read the labels without glasses. The brand is huge but the product type is small.
