This is absolutely correct. That said, I wish we could draw a cordon around Varoufakis so that he becomes representative of nothing more than Yanis Varoufakis. Just a massive twat. It instantly hurts the credibility of anyone when they associate with him and I wish the left would ostracise him.
Too much of the Greek left has swallowed the Russian bs straight up. It's the victim mentality they share, and a sad entitlement towards what history and "the west" deprived them of.
