Cathedral of Silence is a stark monochromatic exploration of emotional architecture. Vertical black strokes rise like spires from a dense abyss, evoking the silhouette of a cathedral engulfed in fog or memory. The raw energy of the brushwork captures a soundless scream, frozen in a moment of tension between presence and disappearance. It speaks of grief, solitude, and the monumental weight of what remains unsaid. The negative space above deepens the sense of distance, making silence feel infinite.

Entry to Semi-detached mansions built by architect Samuel Werenfels for brothers Lukas&Jakob Sarasin between 1763 & 1775. Today they are a govt dept seat.

An exquisite filigreed triple gate bars the entrance to a palatial courtyard. The double gate will open to allow cars and trucks to enter. A small human-sized gate that spans the two larger gates is open to allow pedestrians to enter. The base of the gates is filled with a delicate filigree that also prevents cars and dogs to access or exit the space. The vertical bars of the upper portions prevent humans from scaling the gates. The handrail of the curved stairway into the dwelling is also graced with filigree similar to that at the bottom halves of the three gates.
