Adventure time: I'm traveling from Szeged, Hungary to Cluj-Napoca, Romania to attend a celebration. They have emplyed lecturers for Finnish language and culture for 50 years. Yesterday I worked on my paper and prepped classes for next week. I'm planning to relax on the train and read books. #travel

Perjantaina on kivaa työskennellä hiljaisella yliopistolla omassa rauhassa. Kirjallisuusluento on valmis. Pohdin artikkeliakin. Opiskelijat kiiruhtavat Halloween-bileisiin. Szegedissä lämpötila on +20 astetta, joten työhuoneella ei ainakaan taas palele. #lehtorihommat

Opettajana on kiva huomata, että suomen tunnilla voidaan kommunikoida pääasiassa suomeksi. Ulkomailla opettaessa erityisesti, tämä on mukava hetki. #opettaminen

Viimeiset päivät Suomessa. Paljon tuli tehtyä ja jäi tekemättä. Luin 3 viihdekirjaa ihan siitä ilosta, että suomenkielistä lukemista on helposti saatavilla.

Plenary speaker A. Lukács tells that the field language acquisition is dominated by a few languages. There is a huge research gap in regard of the Uralic family even though e.g. Hungarian and Finnish are well-studied. #cifu14 #langsky
