Ghasts are a more powerful type of Ghoul, which stinks of decay so badly that it sickens nearby living creatures. I tried for a darker purple coloration to help show their increased power, but I'm not sure how I feel about the results.

I like the design of Ghouls in D&D, their long claws and tongue really seem to speak to their predatory nature. The light purple skin coloration came out really nicely, too!

Keeping up with the incorporeal streak of Undead October with a Banshee! While in Irish folklore hearing the wailing of the Banshee was a sign that you will die, D&D lore says they are created from the souls of evil Elven women whose cry can kill you!

The second of today's Undead October update is a Specter. These spirits are malevolent, filled with a hatred for the living and violently lashing out at them. I appreciate how much anger and more violent this one looks compared to the Ghost.

Next up for Undead October is a bit of a double feature. First up is the Ghost, a lingering spirit of someone who died with unfinished business. In their anguish, they're known to frighten or possess the living. I'm very fond of the model for this one.

Next up in my Undead October lineup is an offering from Critical Role: the skeletal centaurs. I really enjoy finding miniatures for non-human skeletons. Ironically, I think it really helps to make the world feel more fleshed out.

I tried something a little different with this Zombie, trying to give a bloated decay look. In retrospect, it isn't very realistic, but it does have a certain charm to it.

Zombies are an interesting painting subject for me, since there's so may ideas on what a zombie could look like. I enjoy the way these gray skinned, blank eyed zombies look.

Something a bit different from my usual fare today. A few years back I came across a Berserk themed mini, and I had to get it for a friend's birthday. A bit outside of my painting comfort zone, but it came out pretty good and my friend was thrilled!
