SaaS, RPA, and Low-Code/No-Code promised to revolutionize business operations, but they've often fallen short, creating new challenges instead of solving old ones. Let's dive into why 👇
The future of marketing is here. Smarter segmentation, hyper-personalization, and AI-driven insights—all in minutes. Read the full article to see how Agentic AI transforms the game: melvintercan.com/p/a-day-in-t...
A Day in the Life of an Agentic Marketing Manager
How Agentic AI can solve complex marketing challenges in a fraction of the time

Want advanced insights? Agentic AI can simulate thousands of consumer surveys to predict preferences and test messaging—without the cost and delays of traditional surveys. Marketing has never been this precise.
January 15, 2025 at 9:30 PM
With hyper-personalization, Agentic AI takes it further: crafting tailored messaging for each recipient. From sleek postcards for young professionals to family-friendly designs, every message resonates deeply.
January 15, 2025 at 9:30 PM
What used to take days of manual effort is now done in minutes. No more guesswork, no more wasted time—just accurate, data-driven audience segmentation at lightning speed.
January 15, 2025 at 9:30 PM
It doesn’t stop there. The AI tests the filters against your database and iteratively refines them using feedback loops until it meets your target constraints. A precise, high-quality audience segment—delivered effortlessly.
January 15, 2025 at 9:30 PM
Using its built-in world knowledge, the AI proposes an initial set of audience filters—intelligently narrowing the search to meaningful combinations. No guesswork, just actionable insights.

Enter Agentic AI: The AI agent starts by conducting online research to gather real-world demographic insights about Austin. It knows where income groups cluster, who lives in certain neighborhoods, and more.
January 15, 2025 at 9:30 PM
Manual segmentation is slow, frustrating, and uncertain. Hours are spent researching demographics, guessing filters, and tweaking configurations—only to keep questioning: Is this the best audience?
January 15, 2025 at 9:30 PM
Your goal: Target high-income households in Austin, Texas. The challenge? Dozens of demographic filters, billions of possible combinations, and the constant tradeoff between precision and scale. Segmentation feels like an impossible puzzle.
January 15, 2025 at 9:30 PM
Imagine you're a marketing manager tasked with creating the perfect audience segment from over a million households. Days of research, trial, and error—only to wonder if you missed a better option. What if AI could do it all in minutes?

The Shortcomings of Modern Automation
Modern automation platforms like SaaS, RPA & Low-Code/No-Code promised transformation but failed to deliver, causing new problems instead.

The future of automation must be intelligent, adaptable, and deeply integrated into enterprise systems. It should adapt to workflows, not the other way around.
January 9, 2025 at 7:43 PM
Low-Code/No-Code platforms like Airtable and Microsoft Power Apps were meant to democratize software development, but they often require more technical expertise than promised, introducing new bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
January 9, 2025 at 7:43 PM
RPA tools like UiPath and Automation Anywhere were hailed as solutions for repetitive tasks, but their rigid scripts and brittleness lead to more manual intervention than automation. Bots break easily, and maintenance costs often outweigh the benefits.
January 9, 2025 at 7:43 PM
SaaS platforms like Salesforce and Slack were supposed to simplify workflows, but they often turn employees into operators, managing complex configurations and manual data entry. The promise of "do more with less" remains unfulfilled.

SaaS, RPA, and Low-Code/No-Code promised to revolutionize business operations, but they've often fallen short, creating new challenges instead of solving old ones. Let's dive into why 👇

software engineering is the original prompt engineering, in both cases you feed in blobs of text to tell the computer what do

The best way is just to… build stuff. Test it, evaluate it, and keep iterating until it works.

There’s no research paper that will tell you how to design your cloud architecture in the best way to support your specific business needs. In the same way there is no research paper that will tell you the best way to design your agentic system to solve your specific problems.
December 21, 2024 at 4:40 PM
The problem with research papers is that they’re not grounded in reality solving practical problems. If you’re looking to use AI agents to solve real problems don’t look for insights in research papers.
