Happy Parkrun Saturday!😊🏃🏿‍♀️

Today, 9 years after my first parkrun, ran my 135th run aged 71, time 25m 41s, and achieved an age grade 88.12%.

My first parkrun was when I was aged 62, ran it in 26m 11s with a age grade average of 75.18

But I’ve learned—it’s not about whether I feel like it.
It’s about what my body needs.

Today, it was very cold but this 70 year old ran 6.17(9.9km) miles in 58m.46s.

Why am I posting this? Just hoping to motivate others to get active and to stay active. I know the motivation I get from others is invaluable so, let's go!
