Omg No Man's Sky is so complicated. Damn game keeps adding more layers. I thought it was gonna be like here's a ship, fly around and explore and now it's I have a town and people I gotta keep happy?
Well I guess it was bound to happen. No Man's Sky has consumed me.
She's a heck of a fight but at least the music is great company.
Would not be surprised if at some point there will be entire sections of history devoted to the study of passive voice and people to mealymouthed to say what we all know they mean.
#LateNightWrite

I skipped question 3 cause I kinda did it for question 2. So thanks Blackbird for another night of prompts.

#LateNightWrite Thank you for joining us this week! Feel free to use this space to share links to your work, or anything you want people to go and check!
#LateNightWrite really making me work for it. But once I remembered the name there is one song.

Loretta (FMC) has one goal: one more day. No matter the cost. To me the song is about begging for just a little bit more time. So it fits.

#LateNightWrite I don't really make playlists but there is certainly a genre or sometimes just a band that I will listen to while I work.
#LateNightWrite Welcome back! I’m in a playlist mood tonight and about to make it everyone’s problem! Do you often make playlists for your WIPs or characters? (spoiler: if you don't, you're about to!)

Hey #LateNightWrite I'm Melissa. I'm no good at talking about myself, but who is? I write, play games and collect cephalopod stuffies.

My current WIP is a post-apoc adventure with a mechanic FMC (and her companion ferret name Sparkplug) who breaks a few people with a giant wrench.
Happy Saturday and welcome to another #LateNightWrite! Let's start with Introductions, tell us about yourself and your WIP(s) in any way you like.

I did that and a goth chick followed me home. I figured in for a penny... and well our 14th anniversary is in a month.
I would have gotten it for the premise. But now you've really gone and sold it.
Geese paratroopers are on standby.
Even Bigfoot has grainy old photos that people use as proof. In this age of HD cameras everywhere you'd think they'd have at least one bit of footage to back their claims.

Then of course they don't feel the need for evidence cause people believe them anyway.

Everyone should go buy trans books before I get disappeared for bringing up the Trust and Safety gooning incident.
On that note:

Trans authors (I mean authors who are trans, NOT cis people who write about trans people), drop your book links here and I'll try to repost as many as I can throughout the day.

Cis people: Repost trans authors' book links.

Cis people who want to complain about being excluded: gtfo
Being a trans author is fucking weird right now. Hell is actively unfolding all around us but I still need to be like, "hey, everyone, wanna buy my silly little queer book? It won't make anything better, but it's kinda fun?"

So....hey, everyone, wanna buy my silly little queer book?
That sounds real painful. Hopefully it doesn't need stiches.

Wait times are ridiculous. If they get much worse they'll need to install beds in the waiting room.
Playing Nine Sols for the first time. It's kicking my butt.
In many cases HOAs were formed to prevent PoC from moving to neighbourhoods.

While some are now just machines for petty complaints about grass length. They were (and I have no doubt, still are) ways for people to control who gets to live next to them.
What a world we live in when the dictionary is trolling us. Well played.
Guaranteed the media knows. Their owners—typically cis, white, conservative males—just want to pin the blame on anyone else.
At this point they'd be better than most "leaders."

Plus I love cephalopods, so it's a win win for me.

Maybe instead of repackaged HP fanfic that keeps a genocidal transphobe relevant...

You read a book about trans love and joy written by a trans author who actually cares about our community.

I'm not sure they can connect the dots. Even when it's just two and requires a single straight line.
Alberta tries real hard to be our Texas.
Sadly I did know about it. Equally sadly there's not much I can do even as a Canadian since I'm not in that province.

They hate women and girls (trans and cis) so much it's astounding.
