And lastly, Irrawaddies are oceanic dolphins, but they are also very commonly found in brackish estuaries and sometimes at the mouths of rivers. This shows their ability to handle both fresh and saltwater, and a mix of the two, just like Silviana's arc within the WT.

Fun fact: Irrawaddies are known to spit water out of their mouths, likely to expel water taken in while hunting. However, this makes me picture Silviana doing a huge spit take when she's told what Elaida did and then dashing off to the Hall.

The really fun bit for the comparison comes from the folk tales regarding Irrawaddies! Laos and Cambodia have stories of Irrawaddies protecting people from CROCODILES--notably larger than these smol dolphins.
