As a slight diversion from the norm, and in deference to this being my #100th album, I have decided that this release will instead be a look back at some of the music that I have made in that whole period, in a couple of cases reaching right back

Unfortunately, democracy also looks like a country not voting for them in the first place. Why did that happen?
Impressive crowds. I wonder where they all were on election day...

Very glad to hear it! (Satie is also up there with the others for me, which should please your Debussiness, I would think)

You might enjoy this one which I put together a very long time ago, or so it feels

So more like a loku then? 😀
It is within the acceptable tolerances. 😁
The ITCOTCK painting was sort of there. It was very badly faded after all this time. It was daft to hang a watercolour behind plain glass, though.
As I recall, the LTiA picture had a big (painted) correction down one side. (I didn't own a camera of any type at the time)

Fripp's 'are you ready to rock' at the start was actually a reference to a gag I made on Elephant Talk, the exact nature of which I now forget. 😀
Beat you to it.

The band's best album, I reckon. (And it's not even complete)
When I see pictures like this, two things immediately come to mind:

1. Wow. Matt's archives must be enormous and his knowledge of F1 vast, deep and almost limitless.

2. Matt could be making all of this up and we'd be none the wiser.

That photograph at the top of the letter bears exactly the same expression as my cat had when it first met a rectal thermometer.
I remember people who were *really into Camel* were also *really into Barclay James Harvest* which I am guessing is in some way admirable, but I always felt it was a bit like being a fanatical Tranmere fan.
Around the time of Tangram (I think) I could say with hand on heart that I had them all. Then I looked away for a mere 30 years, and when I looked back...
If he blows into his ear he could play him like an ocarina
"Jesus comforting the slain conservative Christian activist, the fatal wound to his neck covered by Christ’s pierced hand."

Not a lot of use if your hand has a fucking hole in it...
I wasn't really being entirely serious... 😀
I've posted this before, but the highlight of the Night Watch playback was this. That's my right arm in the foreground hogging one of the Mellotrons. The one in the background being played by a youthful Robert Cervero is the Red machine, which I also hogged excessively.
One of the highlights of that day was the DGM person dropping my copy of Epitaph and having her very large and red-jacketed assistant pick it up and hand it to me. By the look on his face it appeared that the effort was in doing that about to kill him.

It was Greg Lake.
I am going to try and use the word 'fannywobble' in open conversation today.
'Decisive'? Actual decisive action would be inverting him down a deep and dry well.
I was there too. Tony Levin signed my ticket!
Maybe just referring to him officially as HRH Nonce Andrew would be a start.
I think this is their idea of what justice looks like, and I really don't see it going much farther than this unfortunately.
