I've always been fascinated with old neglected buildings.
Today I got to poke around in an old barn.

He's slowed down a little but we do often take him to the local park to wander around in. When we first got him he was a bit underfed. Not so much now, having grown into his corgi body.

This is Festus the cat.
You and he have just agreed to be business partners.
He's asking you to shake on it.

That's his barking spot. From there he can survey the front yard and bark at any passerbys.

That's his barking spot. He barks at the mailman, pizza guy, guy walking down the street.

He's a fine pup. I'll share more photos of him soon. I had taken a bit of a break from social media, but that break is now over.

That's a good name!

Jack is my first corgi. My other dog is a lab, boxer, whoknowswhat mix. She is big and playful and full of energy. Jack is the exact opposite, but they get along really well together.

Jack is definitely moody. It takes a long time for him to accept someone. But he's rightfully got trust issues. He was abandoned three times before we got him. He's been with us almost four years now.

He's good! We just grilled in the backyard and he had a burger of his own.

Her coloration is a lot like Jack's.

These guys are related to lobsters, but live in fresh water, not salt. Around here they are called crawfish. Elsewhere crawdads, crayfish and a few other names. Usually they are fairly small, but in the right conditions can become fairly large. I once had a large one as a pet.

Want to go caving but you're afraid of the dark?
Fret not! That's where I come in. I hit another cave and here is the result!

These guys are super aggressive. I've seen them fight each other in small habitats.

I had taken a bit of a break from sharing from my wanderings, but that's over. I'm thinking I'm back. I plan to go caving, hiking and kayaking, show you what I find. Photos will go here, videos on my channel.
We're gonna see some stuff, you and I.

They have my respect. This one was blind, their ancestors having lived and bred and died in countless generations in this particular cave.

Nope. This one was huge. The rest were tiny little guys.

This was a huge crawfish, crayfish, crawdad. She had a huge side pool she lived in off the main branch of the cave stream.
