One of his thematic throughlines is community support helped him build the muscles to be to where he is today (most directly represented with Kita's rice -> Osamu's onigiri. But there's more like the Inarizaki band and the Inarizaki fans)

Random side bar: I also wonder if the characters that stay in the industry would pursue jobs that require away-game travel (coach, commentator, etc), or would prioritize staying at home (GM track, data+strategy, tickets/sponsorship/game day operations)
