you know what I'll also request ones that might seem to fall outside of my tastes because my tolerance for a lot of stuff is way higher in writing than it is in visual art (as long as the focus is "wow a lady gets big in some manner" anyway)

it's a strange thing to think about and try to describe because it's not a complete inversion of tastes, more that there are things I've had weird hang-ups on, and I was just very suddenly able to view those things in a vacuum and be like "okay do I actually have a problem with this by itself"

anyway I finished Rain Code and while I feel it's kind of uneven I liked it quite a bit. I like Halara and Fubuki (although the implementation of Fubuki's forte sucks)
