The event seeks to discuss how we can co-inhabit a wounded planet, and what forms of knowledge, healing, and transformation are needed to sustain human and more-than-human life.
In view of COP30 in Belém, the symposium proposes a space for reflection in response to the habitability crisis that challenges the future of life on Earth.

Researchers of Mecila, who are participating in the IRTG “Temporalities of Future” conference, visited the recently appointed COLMEX President, Prof. Dr Ana Covarrubias, on 24 October 2025. During the visit, they discussed Mecila’s achievements to date as well as plans for future joint activities.
