I don’t know why the Democrats started with restoring the ACA and Medicaid. They should’ve said we want a public option, like Medicare, or Medicare for all. Then the Republicans would freak and agree to at least the bare minimum.

Since I started voting at 18, I was told don’t move too fast. Now I’m 50 and the Republicans rolled back 70 years of progressive protections for the in 8 months. When we returned the power, let’s move just as fast to restore and enhance protections for all us regular people.
