My thing lately has been events. And that’s not going anywhere, but I got my start making banners. It’s how I got here and I don’t wanna lose that. Hoping to make it more of a focus again because I truly do have a passion for it.

I’ve been fortunate enough to make over 50 banners for subreddits, discords, and YouTube channels, and I love it. Most of the time tho? It’s been me making stuff and saying “here you go” and being lucky it gets used. I want to get to a point where people come to ME for the banner, not the reverse.

This was a TwitchCon card I made for YoItsGold, my first ever commission! I think making things for one time use is just as fun, as you get to really define the look and feel of that specific moment. And I like doing more than just banners, this is a great example of that.

Another favorite is the banner I made for JackSucksAtLife (A honor!) Many of my banners include tons of references, so it was prefect for a channel with such variety.

I also loved making the banner for @austinthewingman.bsky.social because I also got to make the logo and help define his brand!

One of my all time favorite banners was this one I made for @beefstuwu.bsky.social for his house on the SDMP. He had a theme, but gave me free rein on how to design it, and I had a blast coming up with the idea! Here’s a BTS of how I made it:

Fun fact about me: I went to school for marketing, so I love branding and design! Banners aren’t just art, they’re part of the identity for the community or creator. I love how creative I get to be, the references I get to include, and the look on creators faces when they see it for the first time.

I got into this years ago because l won a creator’s banner contest. Sadly that creator turned out to be shit (so I can’t show you) but thankfully I kept going.

A few months later someone suggested a drawing of
mine be used as a subreddit banner, and instead I offered to make one. Now here we are!
