This is a devastating day for our city. We are grieving with Officer Rivera's family and her loved ones. Officer Rivera was a hero who was loved by many and she will be missed dearly. Please keep Officer Rivera's family in our prayers, Chicago.
Chicago, there is an air quality alert until tomorrow at midnight. Please share this widely.
Federal agents should never be allowed to come into our city and assault elected officials or any Chicagoan.
Enough is enough. We need the ultra-wealthy to pay their fair share so that we can fund a world-class public transit system.
Proud to announce the beginning of construction for one of the country’s most significant water infrastructure developments: the GPWC Water Project. This site will deliver water through Chicago to approximately 250,000 residents of the SW suburbs whose current water source is rapidly depleting.
