Join us on Tuesday, Feb. 10, at 6pm at Mayflower for a lecture and Q&A with author Holly Berkley Fletcher, who will discuss her book The Missionary Kids: Unmasking the Myths of White Evangelicalism. We’ll explore the idea of “calling,” how it shapes our lives, and culture. Childcare is provided.

Thrilled to welcome the Doane University Choir back to Mayflower for a one-night-only concert! The evening began with a barbecue dinner, continued with a beautiful sanctuary performance, and ended with cookies and gratitude for Dr. Kurt Runestad and this inspiring ensemble — thank you for the music!

Mayflower is hosting Visualizing Palestine, a photo exhibit that uses data and research to visually communicate Palestinian experiences to provoke narrative change so that we might envision a liberated future for Palestinians in a world free from oppression. Now through Sunday, Jan. 25th.

Our friends from Doane University are returning to Mayflower for a midweek concert this Thursday, January 15th, at 7pm! An auditioned choir of 50 voices, the Doane Choir is the college’s premier choral ensemble. This concert is free and open to the public, with a reception following.

On Sunday, Mayflower’s 363 Group invited the congregation to to assemble Christmas care packs for our neighbors at the Homeless Alliance and Joe’s Addiction. Each pack included cold-weather essentials, snacks, and a card from Mayflower’s children. Thanks to all who stayed to help give back.

Our friends Steven and Nichole Christofferson are off on a new adventure! A well-deserved promotion at Steven’s full-time job is taking them to Atlanta in January. After six years as Director of Youth Ministry, Steven leaves a lasting impact on SOLACE and our students.

Join us this Christmas Eve (Wednesday, Dec. 24th) for two joy-filled services at 4pm and 6pm. The 4pm service features you-pick-’em carols and storytelling; the 6pm offers familiar hymns and a homily. Both end in candlelight. All ages welcome; no childcare available.
