Thank you to the team! This case was special, as we celebrated a patient surviving beyond expectations. >2yrs ago she was herniating from a 6cm insular #gbm. After an urgent late-night resection, she recovered. 25mos later, she had a small recurrence. We confirmed path and cytoreduced using #LITT.

Recently learned @medicalcollegeofwi.bsky.social & @froedtert.bsky.social was top-10 in 2024 for #LITT procedures for neurosurgical oncology in the US. It has been a remarkable treatment for patients with difficult lesions, like this one - a #metastasis which progressed after #SRS. #neurosurgery
