Thursday 13 Nov is our next talk. This one is a bit special because our Chair, Mike Haken, is talking about A New Digital Map of Roman Britain: how to access it, how to use it and what comes next.

It's a huge step forward that's taken a decade to develop

Yeah they are aware of the problem, should be fixed shortly (hopefully)

We are getting there:

our long-awaited book is expected to be published in late autumn. It will be the first book to focus exclusively on Roman sanctuaries in Central-Eastern Europe and on the methods and limits of the archaeology of religion in practice.

Thank you for the tip! I am more in charge of the TEI encoding so I don’t know yet every aspect of Isidore’s editions, but will definitely integrate this numbering system as well as it seems pretty simple
As we are focusing now on the Letters that were not edited by Évieux, we will stick to Migne’s numbering, but it is very likely that we will try to incorporate Évieux in the future!

Really interesting stuff! In the next few months, we intend to incorporate the PG edition of Isidore's Letters into the Patristic Text Archive. We also plan in the eventual future to use HTR to access some manuscripts containing these letters.
