I didn't get an interview. it is disappointing I'm not going to lie but it also is not the end of my journey.

My first ever "Bundle"
Advocacy is not a natural skill, it requires practice and experience to improve and refine your technique. This is why I am so happy to be part of Speed Mooting and their advocacy club. I cant wait for next week to try and present this case.

An interesting judgement handed down by their Lordships and Ladyships of the Supreme Court this morning regarding the definition of "Woman" in UK Law. A unanimous judgement of the court defines a woman in regards to the Equality act as referring to biological sex.

Despite spending the last 15 years in jobs where talking to people is at the core of every work day, Legal Oral Advocacy is something that is completely new to me, this is why I have entered the SpeedMooting plea in mitigation competition in June. After all pressure is the best teacher

Just submitted my application for Gray's Inn GDL Scholarship. It's all becoming real so quickly. Whether I succeed or not, I'm proud to be part of Gray's Inn and grateful for the scholarships they and the other three Inns of Court offer, enabling individuals to pursue their legal career.
