It’s four hours later and my tongue still burns and despite the Pepcid, I still feel acidic.

Fewer whole dried peppers in the base next time.

I think the TRON franchise is doomed to be kind of niche. One of those dork things that not all dorks “get.” Like tokusatsu.

Which is a shame, because I would love an HD remake of TRON 2.0.

I wonder how much closer we are to the planet being uninhabitable for humans because of crypto and AI.

Like, does the oligarchy really think life in a "climate haven" on an otherwise dead planet will really be a situation where there wealth will matter?

To me, Zootopia represents classic Disney creativity/ imagination, and I want that to be great.

I love the first movie, Z+, the new trailer, and "Zoo" is so fun it makes me want to dodge MY taxes.

But like... sparse marketing worries me. Especially so close to (US) Thanksgiving.

Man, I hope Zootopia 2 is good. I want it to be.

It’s been a while since Disney Animation had a box office/ critical win.

I worry because there’s virtually no merch, little advertising and seemingly just one popcorn bucket. It’s like Disney’s scared.

But I’m hoping for good things.

ALSO, Ares should have mourned Cal Kestis. It could have tied to the dead sister subplot.

And I love Jeff Bridges as JesusGPT, but I think Tron would have been a more apt cameo. This franchise does not care about its namesake.

A C+ from me. Missed potential in every scene.

I think what NIN delivered is a cool soundtrack for a Blade Runner spin-off. For Tron it never energized me.

If it was me, I would have gone with the guy who did the Tron: Uprising soundtrack. That show sounded dope.

OR, since they're trying to appeal to Gen Z, maybe court Marshmello or Deadmau5?

A desire to appease shareholders makes animation safe and robs an artist of the freedom to experiment, and maybe make the future instead of trying to follow current trends.

Kenji Iwaisawa has a lot of artistic integrity and I appreciate the hell out of it.

By the time this movie comes out I’m going to be that adult singing along to the songs.

I started out lukewarm on this song, but it’s been in my rotation all day and now I love it.

The facial composition of Michael's Zeb reminds me of a puppet I designed in 2010 based on Chewbacca concept art, for a Star Warsy kids camp.

Ultimately, what was built was more like if The Bumble was an MMPR monster. It made kids pee in terror. True story.

Lesson: Kids are scared of a LOT.

Wonder Project added The Mysterious Benedict Society (I rec!). I wish they’d pick up other disappeared Disney+ shows. Willow, The World According to Jeff Goldblum. I see that Crater is being sold as a standalone movie. So that’s nice.

Also, why isn’t The Weekenders on digital yet? It’s the best!

The only “war on Christmas” is the onslaught of soulless corporations trying to get you to move Christmas earlier and earlier in your year so they can sell you more crap.

It it October 6th. I should be hearing The Monster Mash everywhere. Not freaking Silver Bells.
